DOES IT REALLY MEAN I GENUINELY CARE ABOUT A PARTICULAR PERSON , COMMUNITY OR COUNTRY IF I FILL MY NEWS FEED WITH THEIR IMAGES, CHANGE MY PROFILE PICTURE TO NATIONAL FLAGS?
Then why do we feel the need to emotionally blackmail people into caring?

The point is, ALL LIVES SHOULD MATTER BUT the sad truth is ALL LIVES DO NOT MATTER… IT DEPENDS ON WHAT BATTLES OR STRUGGLES YOU CHOOSE TO DEAL WITH, otherwise we would see social media filled with people pleading for prayers for the whole world as opposed to specific prayers for specific communities, countries. My point is Every Country has an issue they are dealing with that needs great intervention, It could be Floods, It could be Passion Killing, Human Trafficking, Earthquakes, Terrorism, Missing Flights, Poverty, War, Drought,car accidents, IGNORANCE….and all these things claim lives on a daily but people choose what their focus will be on.
Just because Facebook does not ask you to change your profile picture to GHANA’S national flag does not mean there are no floods, Just because MAINSTREAM MEDIA does not cover issues in your country or continent does not mean they don’t matter, for Goodness Sake your countries have MEDIA HOUSES and they do not need the west to do their work, Just because The President does not make a public urge to care doesn’t mean there are no homeless Children freezing , old people dying slow and lonely cause no one is around to talk to or to even know they slipped and broke and died days after , or that people who die at the hands of robbers do not matter….ALL LIVES SHOULD MATTER
So Just because I do not post anything about Ghana, Passion Killing, Car Accidents( Nam is ranked #1 IN THE WORLD for highest ACCIDENT RATES which claims most lives, it may not be EBOLA but ALL LIVES SHOULD MATTER.), does not mean that I do not care. There are people that would post #PrayforGhana,#PrayforPARIS not because they care but because its what seems to be the CURRENT social trend.
So UNLESS its a SOCIAL PETITION that can result in major action, change in policy etc then please just allow me to care the best way I can :PRAYER (I could just be saying that too right?)
ALL LIVES SHOULD MATTER but only YOU can answer whether ALL LIVES MATTER….
